What We Do

The Create a Healthier Niagara Falls Collaborative’s Resident Engagement Council empowers residents to help build a healthier Niagara Falls. We provide leadership training, connectivity, and support for residents with project ideas for making the community a healthier place.

Connected communities thrive through how they live, work and play together. The Create a Healthier Niagara Falls Collaborative aims to increase this one step at a time in the City of Niagara Falls. Please join us for the 3rd Annual Walk the Falls. This year we will walk and explore the beautiful Hyde Park area, bringing to light another little wonder our city has to offer.

The Niagara Falls National Heritage Area (NFNHA) and Create a Healthier Niagara Falls Collaborative (CHNFC) are partnering together to host a 5K Wellness Walk at the Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Center on Sunday, April 18 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. This walk offers an opportunity for members of the community to restore the connection with nature and each other, while improving their physical and mental health.
